This is a one gallon can of Olympic Steel Primer No. 219 for use on bare steel pool surfaces. Bare steel must be sandblasted, degreased, and primed immediately. (For galvanized steel, use Olympic No. 220.) Steel Primer No. 219 is also used for priming bare metal surfaces before applying Super Convoy (but not Super Convoy II).To prime the pool, hold the can upright 18-24″ from surface and spray in a steady back-and-forth motion. Make sure to always move the can and slightly overlap each stroke while painting. My pool took 2 coats and 4 cans of paint for full coverage. Note- I only painted the sides.
